This is a 3 part webinar series. Each webinar contains different content.
- Monday, December 4, 2023 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
- Thursday, December 7, 2023 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
- Thursday, December 14, 2023 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Important registration information:
Please follow all these steps to register for the webinars:
- Log into Zoom at zoom.us using the email that you will be using to register for the webinar. If you are unable to log into Zoom using that email, that email may will not work if you try to register for the tax trainings (you may get a message saying that registration is limited to authorized participants). If you are unable to log into Zoom, either try logging in with a different email address (and use that email address to register for the tax webinars), or click the “Sign Up Free” button in the upper right of the Zoom landing page to register your email with Zoom, and then register for the tax webinars using that email address.
- Once you have logged into Zoom or registered your email with Zoom, follow this link https://us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/9516966231324/WN_ozQ7jeXrSNmL56ZTKDgv4A and complete the registration form you’ll find there. You must register using an email that ends in .edu (an institutional email) or answer the questions about your role in the higher education community and why you used a non-,edu address before your registration will be approved. This webinar is intended for financial aid professionals, and we reserve the right to cancel registrations of people who are not working as, or retired, financial aid administrators, college access professionals, or otherwise engaged in processing financial aid applications or assisting students in the application process. You will register one time, and your registration will cover all three webinars. You will receive a confirmation email (and reminder emails) that will contain a unique link that you will use to join the webinars (the same link can be used for all three webinars). These emails will also include links to allow you to add the webinar information to your calendar. The confirmation email will arrive within a few minutes of your registration in most cases, if it does not arrive within one day, please check your spam folder to see if it was routed there. Note: if you get a message after you complete the registration page that says that the webinar is only open to authorized participants, please reread and follow the instructions in item (1) above. Do not contact Robert Weinerman or your NHASFAA for assistance unless you have followed the instructions in item (1) and are still unable to register.
- You must answer the question in the registration page about which financial aid associations you are a member of. These webinars are available to members of CAPFAA (Connecticut), MASFAA (Maine), MASFAA (Massachusetts), NHASFAA (New Hampshire), RIASFAA (Rhode Island), and VASFAA (Vermont). Each association will be provided with a list of its members who registered for the training.
The webinars will be recorded and will be made available to members of these organizations to view after the webinar series has ended.
